CCommentary: Beyond the Siberian coast north end is the secret research base Katorga-12 - the island, which in 50 years of Soviet Union is conducting dangerous experiments with catastrophic consequences, leading to the emergence of the Singularity. This distorts the natural flow of time. The project was terminated and the island and objects to it - and coded placed under tight security.

Players take the role of Nate Renko - U.S. pilot, sent on a reconnaissance mission over frequent disruption in the area of the island.
